To report a repair:

Have you tried to adjust the ball valve? See Adjusting a toilet ball valve.

Is it dripping, running or gushing?

Is it your only toilet?

Do you know what has caused the blockage? We will charge you if you have caused the blockage.

Have you tried to clear it yourself? See Clearing a blocked waste or toilet.

Is the toilet pan or cistern cracked? See Pan or Cistern below.

Could it be condensation rather than a leak?

Is the leak coming from a pipe joint or a crack in a pipe? If so, which joint or pipe is leaking?

How did this happen? We will charge you for any damage you have caused.

Is the pan loose, cracked or broken?

Is it on a concrete or wooden floor?

Is the flush handle or chain broken? See Handle or chain below.

Is the cistern filling up properly? Until the problem is fixed, use a bucket of water to flush.

Does the ball valve need adjusting? See Adjusting a toilet ball valve.

How did this happen?

Is the problem just with the lid?

Is it high level, low level or close-coupled?

Is it a lever handle, push-down knob or chain?
